First there was East Street Antiques Rye. A shop selling good quality 18th and 19th century furniture. Then came East Street Coffee House Rye. Selling a delicious selection of healthy lunches, cakes, cream teas and possibly the best coffee in Sussex !. Then came  Luxury B and B accommodation rye.......

Situated above our Antique Shop and Coffee House in the Heart of Medieval Rye  Luxury Bed and Breakfast accommodation Rye is our attempt to change the established perception of bed and breakfasts and Guest Houses. In fact, we consider ourselves somewhere between b & b 's and Hotel accommodation in Rye.We offer a level of privacy and comfort not normally associated with this type of accommodation in Rye. The en-suite Four poster and Eaves rooms share their own lounge and internal front door and can therefore be also be let as a non catering apartment. The Apothecary suite (set in another wing of the property has its own lounge, bedroom and bathroom. In addition to our East Street premises we are now also offering the Merrythought room located directly opposite the St Mary's Church.

To the rear of the accommodation rye there is use of a small rooftop garden with wonderful views of hidden Rye. The Breakfast  is continental and is served in the coffee house which is already well known to Rye residents. It consists of freshly baked croissants, pain au chocolat, baguettes. Choice of coffee i.e. espresso, latte, cappucino etc or tea, juice, cereals and fruit.
